Q&A! 'Why aren’t you posting comic updates and chapters publicly until your books are done?&

To answer, the main reason is: I don’t want to let my audience down. The most common enemy of webcomics (or at the very least online updates) is hiatus. I’ve seen it dozens of times. Blocks happen, life happens, work happens and I like to be able to post consistently. In the end, Everyone’s happy!

The second reason is: I’m putting this puzzle together out of order! I have never been a fan of straightforward workflow when it comes to plots before something is complete. I think of these books like loooong movies. I like having the room to change ideas; improve, add new elements or drop old ideas for new better ones. It gives me a lot of freedom to fine tune aspects of story and characters to ensure I’m happy with everything. Plus if I’m stuck on an aspect of a serious plot chapter thats 30+ pages that’s draining me, and need a break, I’m able to put it down and work on other lighter aspects. Then I can come back with a fresh perspective.

In short, it keeps my creativity healthy, ensures I finish my goals, and puts my best efforts forward!

But yes it gets hard not to post everything. I’m excited to share with everyone!!!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
