I'm Samantha Aburime, a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation.
My personal work focuses on presenting numerous variations of masculinity and blurring the lines of gendered expectations. In this focus, I also promote diversity in my work, particularly through POC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent characters.
My latest personal project is self-publishing and marketing my own book series.
I have a great love for animation, writing, illustration, music, interactive media, and film, and enjoy applying all of my varying skills through my work, juggling different tasks. My greatest hope is to make a positive difference in the world and create content that people truly love and enjoy.
